Jersey Adventure

Last week, I was able to go to New Jersey with some good friends Lisa Martone, Joni Beachy and Michelle Sacco.  It was a wonderful trip!!  Lisa is from New Jersey so we got to stay with her family and they only live a half hour from New York City.  I learned so much about each of the gals and this is cheesy, but I learned a lot about our country since I had never been to New York but had heard of it for so long.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Claimed Verse of the Week

Yesterday, I read the following verse . . .

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.  John 21:25

I know I have probably read this verse several times in my life but when I read it yesterday, I was very encouraged that this same Jesus died on the cross for my sins, knows me so personally and walks with me everyday.

Generosity

My good friend Kristy and I were discussing how generous family members become when there is a new baby around.  It is wonderful!!!!  Without such generosity, our kids probably wouldn't have food or clothing.  HA!  Just kidding, kind of.  Here are some recent examples of such generosity.  Thank you everyone!!!

Over Half a Year Old

Well, it's official!  Oscar is now 7 months old.  My good friend Joni sent me this verse the other day and I felt the need to blog it up.  Ecclesiastes 3:14 And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him.  I never thought this is what my life would look at age 27 but I am so very thankful that this is how it the Lord designed it to be.  And I am pretty sure I am learning to fear Him as time moves on.

Well, enough of the sentimental yak . . . let's get on to the Oscar pics.  HA!  This first one's in honor of you Jones.
